How much money can promotional products save an individual?

“A lot” is the short answer. There are so many different types of promotional items now it is almost mind boggling. Advertisers are finding more and more ways to get their logo and/or message in front of consumers. They seem to like promotional items because of their low cost and longevity. I met a lady who said she stocked all her kitchen utensils and accessories with promotional items!
There are two major categories of promotional item sales, business to business and consumer. Starting with the business side, look around you today at all the promotional items you are using and think about how much money you would have spent if you actually purchased those items. Here’s what you might find around you:
• The bag you carry back and forth to and from work with you.
• The pen you are using.
• The mouse pad at your computer.
• The coaster you set your drink on.
• Maybe even the chair in which you are sitting right now.
• Your ruler.
• Your letter opener.
• Your lunch bag.
• The shirt on your back.
• Your jacket you wore today?
• The calendar on your wall.
• A flash drive for your computer.
• Other desk accessories like a pen holder, clock, etc.

That’s just what surrounds you at work! Now that the promotional products industry has expanded what’s offered to use at home or outside of work, it’s almost unbelievable:
• Your alarm clock.
• Jar openers.
• Pet items like a bowl, scoop for their food, leash, etc.
• Measuring spoons.
• Kitchen aids like a grater, peeler, timer, measuring cups, strainers, cutting boards.
• Knives.
• Blankets
• Travel cups for your hot or cold drinks.
• Automobile emergency kits.
• Calendars for the home.
• Grocery bags.
• Coolers
• Many other items not mentioned here but found at www.kevinspromos.com

Maybe that’s why they say that promotional products are the only form of advertising people actually thank you for. While there are many derogatory terms for promotional items, in the end they serve a wonderful purpose in our world, and save you money.

Overall I’m a fairly positive person. It would be hard to succeed in sales without being so. But I am so tired of hearing about “the economy”: unemployment is up, the national deficit is astronomical, investors are not investing, the economy shows no growth, the sky is falling, etc.

There’s been a bit of trouble in the Catholic Diocese of Nashville recently. It all started when a local priest, Father Joe Pat Breen, said that Catholics do not necessarily have to obey the Pope. In a nutshell he said when your conscience tells you otherwise, and you’ve prayed over it and feel you are right, do what your conscience says and it’s between you and God.
Boy, I could do some heavy rationalization on some issues there and convince myself it’s okay…but I digress.

If puppies aren’t one of the most joyous creations on this planet, I don’t know what is. Puppies have more fun than should be legal.
Think about the average day for a puppy. They wake up pretty much when they want to, doesn’t matter if it is 4 AM or 9 AM. Pretty much all they have to do is let out a little yelp and their person is there to take care of them. Don’t hammer me with whether it’s right to respond to them always, etc. I’m not writing a training blog here, just a puppy blog!
